However, Dr. Carl Benedikt Frey, Oxford University’s future of work expert, explains how face-to-face interaction will remain essential for innovation. Remote working conditions don’t allow for the connection and inspiration that innovation requires. This is a short extract from the exclusive Learning From Leaders conference where Peter Vanham, author of “Before I Was CEO”, interviewed Dr. Carl Benedikt Frey, director of the Future of Work program at the Oxford Martin School, Oxford University. Dr. Frey shared his vision of the future of work including his perspective on automation, robotics, remote working and the misuse of technology, and offered the audience of EU students, alumni and special guests his advice for a prosperous career.
