EU students join the Portugal Azul ocean conservation expedition in Madeira

As part of EU Business School's long-term collaboration with explorer and environmentalist Nacho Dean, the winners of the Portugal Azul Challenge had the opportunity to explore Madeira on a hands-on expedition focused on ocean conservation.  

Winning team Youth4Waters sailed with Nacho on his Portugal Azul expedition boat along the coast, getting involved in conservation initiatives and learning more about ocean protection. The experience offered a different perspective on the challenges they explored during the competition, while putting their ideas into a real-world context. 

In this video, team members Maximo Ameri, Flavia Righetti and Mandy Him reflect on their experience taking part in the challenge and sailing with Nacho. They remind us that some of the most meaningful learning happens when you step outside the classroom.
